It is often easy to forget to spend some time with yourself in such a busy and fast paced society. However, self care allows us to give ourselves a break and observe what we need in the moment. 

We invite you on our three day retreat to fully recharge yourself and regain your inner peace.

 

 

What To Expect

Put down your phones together and communicate with the world attentively. Please do not disturb the environment, do not litter, do not maliciously attack others. Wear your most comfortable clothes and bring environmentally friendly tableware. Stay weird and stay unique.

Zen Meditation Instructor: Justin

In this retreat, Justin will offer us a glimpse of traditional Korean Zen meditation practice. Through chanting, sitting and walking practice, this style of meditation brings us into intimate contact with the workings of our own minds. From this contact, we can learn to understand and accept ourselves and our circumstances just as they are; just this. Come and join us as we engage with the serene discipline of traditional temple-style Zen practice.

Justin has been following the Zen Buddhist path for more than 20 years. After struggling with his own history of childhood abuse and trauma, he found a deep sense of solace and acceptance from his meditation practice. This led him to pursue a degree in East Asian studies and subsequently move to South Korea. While living and practicing there for a decade, he led the International Zen Group at Hwagyesa Temple for 3 years, participated in numerous retreats, and engaged in 5 months of residential monastic practice at Musangsa Temple, in Gyeryong. It is his pleasure to share the healing, ‘bittersweet medicine’ of this practice with all who are interested.

Eye Yoga Instructor: Marx

Our five senses serve as tools that help us observe our world, with sight serving as the most dominant tool. Through our eyes, we can see and understand our surroundings. 

In this retreat, Marx will lead Eye Yoga that helps relax our eyes and adjusts it to a better condition. 

Marx has received training with Dr.Amarjith who specialized in Eye Yoga in 2018. In the beginning of the training, Marx’s shortsightedness was 400 degrees and his astigmatism was 225 degrees. After the training, his shortsightedness went down to 150 degrees, and his astigmatism went down to 120 degrees. 

Eye Yoga taught Marx to be more mindful of our body and bring it to a stable stage. Once we can control our body, we will be able to enjoy the happiness that follows.

Located in a corner of Yangminshan, our space is surrounded by nature. Sounds of birds chirping wakes you up in the morning, as the morning breeze sweeps across your face. 

Here in our space, we invite you to take a deep breath and let go of all your worries.

*The private kitchen will customize the dishes for us, which will change with the seasons and provide you with the freshest ingredients. Therefore, it may not be all as shown in the photo.

Cass and Eva love exploring ingredients in its purest form and bringing out each ingredient’s specialty through different cooking techniques. 

They believe that each ingredient is a gift from Mother Nature, and it is important to understand its benefits to our body and incorporate it into our meals.

  3. PAYMENT PROCESSED:
    Please proceed with the payment at your earliest convenience no later than 3 days after you receive our bank account information. Without receiving your payment, the booking system will cancel your reservation automatically. Don’t forget to provide the last five digits of your bank account number and the total amount you have transferred. 

  4. RESERVATION COMPLETED:
    Please wait patiently as our team members contact you shortly. The reservation is completed once the payment is received.

Cancellation Policy 

Cancellations made 14 days or more in advance of the event date will receive a 100% refund. Cancellations made between 10 - 13 days of the event will receive a 40% refund. Cancellations made between 3 - 9 days of the event will receive a 10% refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours are non-refundable unless there’s an emergency. However, the booking can be transferred to a different person if you’re unable to attend.

If cancellation is needed due to the pandemic.

Announced Level Three: Event will be canceled and there will be a full refund.

Announced Level two: Event will continue and there will be partial refund. We will also follow the following procedure according to the government:

  1. Wear masks indoor at all times

  2. Masks can be neglected on occasions like “eating and drinking”.

  3. Record temperature, sanitize and manage STAFF’s health condition.
