Have you ever, in a fleeting moment, felt an inexplicable atmosphere in space? In that intuitive instant, perhaps you've unwittingly connected with the presence of "Qi" (energy).

In our hurried daily lives, "Qi" connects people, events, and objects like invisible threads, yet it's frequently overlooked. From ancient Eastern wisdom to modern energy theories, "Qi" has always been an essential element nourishing life and maintaining balance.

Today, with the layered pressures of daily busyness and information overload, our connection to our own energy has increasingly faded, and this intuitive awareness has gradually been forgotten.

Take a day to gather in a forest house in Wulai, where we'll slowly concentrate on our personal "Qi" and sense its presence. We'll understand "Feng Shui" from an energy perspective and practice perceiving this flowing energy with sensitivity in our lives. Then, we'll explore the mysteries of the Five Elements, learning how Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth influence our energy fields, experiencing these elements' qualities through several practical exercises.

After lunch, we'll bring our understanding of "Qi" into the world of Tai Chi, experiencing how movement reveals energy's omnipresence. We'll conclude with meditation, immersing the mind and body in harmony.

Through this one-day experience, we'll return to our authentic selves, feeling the energy flowing throughout the earth and within us, and carry this awareness back into our daily lives.

Introduction to Qi Sensation and Energy Field : Jimmy

In this guided session, we will join Jimmy to feel the connection with our bodies, discovering our innate sensitivity through new experiences. Understand that Qi not only flows within the body but extends beyond it to connect with the universe. When energy fields interact, they trigger mutual changes—through these transformations, we'll experience the relationships between people and between humans and nature. Through the sessions, attendees will learn how to adjust their energy fields and reach inner and outer balance. 

Jimmy has been learning Chinese Medicine for more than ten years, and practiced Taichi, Shaolin and Bagua Boxing for more than 15 years.  Through this retreat , he combines his knowledge of Chinese Medicine and Qi together to work in correspondence to each other.

Tai Chi and Meditation: Rich

In this retreat, Rich will guide us to awaken our muscles, body awareness, and energy sensation through the practice of Tai Chi. The journey continues with an exploration of the dynamic interplay between Yin, Yang, and Qi in Tai Chi philosophy. Finally, the session will close with a flowing energy meditation — eyes gently shut, allowing all sensations, emotions, and inner energies to return to a state of balance and ease.

“Relaxing the body and re-balancing our brain activity leads to a calm state of mind. Then, exploring the nature of mind,  emotions and internal energies. Finally, expanding our awareness outside of the body gives us insight into the nature of consciousness.”

Rich began practicing Martial Arts at the age of 7 and discovered the art of Tai Chi (Taiji Quan). Training in Tai Chi allowed Rich to better understand his body, mind and spirit connection and led to exploration of meditation. 

Teaching Chen, Yang and Tsun Style Tai Chi since 2014, Rich has also trained extensively in different meditation styles with Masters around the world. Now, he has developed his own synthesis of movement, relaxation and meditation that is useful in everyday life and for spiritual cultivation. In the following years, Rich has also developed into the instructor of Universal Healing Tao System & Meditation and Qigong.

In a quiet corner of the forest, there is a small mountain community shrouded in rain mist. It once had a very poetic name: "Raindrops."

Embraced by the lush greenery and accompanied by the various natural sounds of the forest, travelers come to feel the healing power of living in harmony with nature.

Through the forest trails, we will take you to a secret place that seems to be isolated from the noisy outside world. Relax and enjoy our own time alone, and let our heart rest in tranquility.

    Building on the concept of Tai Chi, the frequently mentioned "Yin and Yang" are actually closely related to Qi. Through guided instruction, we will understand the connection between Yin, Yang, and Qi, and how they influence our daily lives.

Cancellation Policy 

Cancellations made 14 days or more in advance of the event date will receive a 100% refund.

Cancellations made between 2 - 13 days of the event will receive a 70% refund.

Cancellations made within 2 days of the event will receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations made on the day of the event or during the event are non-refundable unless an emergency occurred and is provided with proof.

However, the booking can be transferred to a different person if you’re unable to attend.
