Yin, Yang and Qi: Sensing Qi in Daily Life

Have you ever, in a fleeting moment, felt an inexplicable atmosphere in space? In that intuitive instant, perhaps you've unwittingly connected with the presence of "Qi" (energy).

In our hurried daily lives, "Qi" connects people, events, and objects like invisible threads, yet it's frequently overlooked. From ancient Eastern wisdom to modern energy theories, "Qi" has always been an essential element nourishing life and maintaining balance.

Today, with the layered pressures of daily busyness and information overload, our connection to our own energy has increasingly faded, and this intuitive awareness has gradually been forgotten.

Take a day to gather in a forest house in Wulai, where we'll slowly concentrate on our personal "Qi" and sense its presence. We'll understand "Feng Shui" from an energy perspective and practice perceiving this flowing energy with sensitivity in our lives. Then, we'll explore the mysteries of the Five Elements, learning how Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth influence our energy fields, experiencing these elements' qualities through several practical exercises.

After lunch, we'll bring our understanding of "Qi" into the world of Tai Chi, experiencing how movement reveals energy's omnipresence. We'll conclude with meditation, immersing the mind and body in harmony.

Through this one-day experience, we'll return to our authentic selves, feeling the energy flowing throughout the earth and within us, and carry this awareness back into our daily lives.

The Blueprint of Conscious Awakening

Have you ever felt lost in such confusion? In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it's easy for our moods to be engulfed by whirlpools. The tension of emotions can often unintentionally hurt the dearest ones around us.

Then there are those indescribable emotions, neither wanting to suppress nor indulge them, yet not knowing where to go. Unintentionally, these feelings have infiltrated into our daily actions and choices, making it hard to break free.

Let's temporarily settle these complex thoughts! Step away from the frames set by emotions, and from a broader perspective, rediscover ourselves by sketching our own awakening blueprint. Let’s learn to consciously take control of our emotions, and live in harmony with them.

We can still deeply experience various emotions, whether joy or sadness, but next time, try letting them flow and transform naturally, rather than occupying our hearts.

At the peak of summer, we gather at the Soul Barn rooftop sanctuary, a tranquil haven amidst the urban hustle and bustle. Let us bask in the gentle sunlight that replenishes our vitality and feel the warmth of the sun, circulating through our bodies, bringing a sense of comfort and ease to every part of us.

Follow the gentle guidance to readjust and realign ourselves. After chakra tuning, we are rejuvenated by Reiki healing to the body and mind - washing away our exhaustion, gently putting down the pressure on our shoulders, and finding back our long lost balance.

In this journey of body awareness, Soul Barn integrates Kundalini sound flow meditation and Shaman breathing meditation. Following the pace of the guide, we practice a different form of meditation where we deeply observe and care for every inch of our skin, every thought and consciousness, and feel the connection between the chakras, body and emotion. Let the body, mind and spirit connect closely with all natural entities.

Mind and Body Reset : Reiki Healing and Meditation

Imagine a world without words.

There are times when we create a conversation only because we feel like we “have to”. Living in a world full of noise, a silent retreat that includes not only daily meditation, but also Art Expression, Five Senses Exploration, and Mantra for Joy and Peace can bring us a deep and authentic self transformation simply by giving ourselves some “me-time”.

Waking up early in the morning in a silent little village, we’ll experience some yoga sessions to start off the day. In the afternoon, simply immerse ourselves in peace, find balance of our lives and regain the connection with our mind and body. At night, enjoy the best vegetarian menu packed with seasonal ingredients. Don’t worry, the food is crazy delicious and amazing.

Just before the retreat ends, we’ll join a Sharing Circle, where we can share our experiences and questions throughout the journey, and remember, we’re always here listening, without judgment and criticisms.

Here in this silent journey, follow the instructors’ guide through the meditation sessions, and simply listen to your inner voice. We’ll be there offering support and guidance, helping you access a deeper level of consciousness.
