Date: 2023/3/18 (Sat) 14:00 - 2023/3/20 (Mon) 12:00, 2023

Location: Shigang District, Taichung City, Taiwan

Level: All levels are warmly welcomed

Category: Inspire & Connect

*Inspire & Connect provides retreats that help us pursue inner happiness, peace, freedom, and personal growth through wellness group activities. Here in a safe space, together we discuss ideas without judgment, and share stories we've never told a soul.

*Please note that this is an adult-exclusive retreat available to 16-year-olds and over.

As we welcome the start of Spring, let us gather together in the mountains.

This retreat incorporates Taichi that readjusts our body’s energy and balances our organs. Every movement of the stretch wakes up every cell inside our body, and slowly releases all our burdens.

As we move into the afternoon, enjoy an artistic session of painting and meditation. Feel your emotions and senses, and portray them onto your canvas.

During this retreat, allow yourself to practice being mindful of the present. Feel every breath, listen to every heartbeat, and observe every emotion.

Slowly, find yourself back in peace.

What To Expect

Wear your most comfortable clothes and bring environmentally friendly tableware. Put down your phones and communicate with the world attentively.

Stay weird and stay unique.

Mindfulness Instructor: Hua

In this retreat, Hua will be leading “Mindful Living” that teaches attendees how to use small steps in life to stay mindful in every moment.

Before moving back to Taiwan, Hua has spent many years as a model in New York. This experience also allowed her to learn how to stay peaceful in a busy city.

After moving back home, Hua has spent her days promoting mindful practice, and allowing more people to benefit from these practices.

In this session, you will learn that you can be mindful no matter where you are, and whatever you’re doing.

Yoga and Art Therapy Instructor: Coco

In this retreat, Coco will help attendees regain their inner balance through “Afternoon Mindful Stretch”, “Artistic Meditation: Elevating Inner Power”, and “Morning Mindfulness Practice”.

“The two things that I love most: Art and Yoga, incorporated so well in ways I have not imagined before.”

When Coco discovered her passion for yoga in Canada and how it connects her with the people around her, she also felt discouraged by the reality of her job. This struggle prompted her to go on a journey to India to seek who she really is.

In India, Coco practiced yoga, meditation and Ayurveda, which allowed her to understand herself through every perspective.

When she came back to Taiwan, the pandemic was a turning point for Coco to devote herself into combining Art with meditation. While she can heal herself during the process, she could also help others.

Follow Coco’s instructions and embrace yourself on a journey of art creation and meditation. Open up your five senses and find back the connection of your inner and outer selves.

Meditation Instructor: Rich

In this retreat, Rich will guide us to explore the body-mind-spirit connection through “Warmup Exercises and Breathwork”, “Guided Meditation - Visualization”, and “Warmup Exercises and Organ Activation”.

“Relaxing the body and re-balancing our brain activity leads to a calm state of mind. Then, exploring the nature of mind, emotions and internal energies. Finally, expanding our awareness outside of the body gives us insight into the nature of consciousness.”

Rich began practicing Martial Arts at the age of 7 and discovered the art of Tai Chi (Taiji Quan). Training in Tai Chi allowed Rich to better understand his body, mind and spirit connection and led to exploration of meditation.

Teaching Chen, Yang and Tsun Style Tai Chi since 2014, Rich has also trained extensively in different meditation styles with Masters around the world. Now, he has developed his own synthesis of movement, relaxation and meditation that is useful in everyday life and for spiritual cultivation. In the following years, Rich has also developed into the instructor of Universal Healing Tao System & Meditation and Qigong.

*This session will be held in English
