Return to Self: Body Feng Shui and Xi

In the new year, we gather at our home to purify our minds and bodies, replenish our energy, and explore our inner universe. Built upon the foundation of Eastern traditional wisdom, we integrate the energy principles of body feng shui, the healing power of Usui Reiki, and the serene practice of meditation. Through diverse energy guidance and varying perspectives, we embark on a spiritual journey back to our authentic selves.

"Where there is qi, there is feng shui." Unlike spatial feng shui, we will explore the energy generated within our own bodies, sense its flow and stagnation, become aware of our body's suppleness and tension, and practice letting go.

Through body feng shui, we decode the mysteries of our internal energy and listen to our body's messages, becoming conscious of physical discomfort. With Usui Reiki guidance, we experience the warmth of life force energy flowing through our palms, opening the heart chakra and connecting with love, allowing physical discomfort to flow and dissipate. Through sound meditation, we settle scattered thoughts, observe the present moment, and rediscover our inner peace and strength.

Once our energy is calibrated and balanced, we can create healthy connections with others.

"The words you speak create your world." We practice neutral, conscious communication, observing every word we speak, becoming aware of the world we are creating, and thereby adjusting and aligning how we wish to shape our daily lives in the new year.

The golden autumn days invite us to this artistic sanctuary in the northern coast. Hidden within the verdant mountains, sunlight filters through the leaves like gentle hands, caressing every inch of skin, bringing a touch of warmth to the senses.

Following the gentle guidance, we use the simplest, purest sounds to retune the rhythm of life. Immersed in the resonant waves of singing bowls, they wash away long-held anxiety and worries, restoring inner peace and balance.

As our senses gradually awaken, creativity flows like a spring. We let go of inner tension, embrace each inspiration, receive the purification from crystals, and freely express various imaginations and creativity. We enter a state of flow with no external judgment, leaving us united with our present creation.

Then, we embark on an encounter with art and mindfulness: the finesse of the artwork is not the focal point; what matters is the focus and breakthrough of self-imposed limitations during the creative process. When we release the fear of "not being able to paint '' and the standards of "good" art, crossing over self-imposed and external barriers, true healing quietly occurs.

Emotions dance with the strokes of the brush, following inner guidance, focusing on personal feelings rather than others' opinions. Each stroke is an exploration and acceptance of the self. As ink blends with paper, inner unease and anxiety dissipate, leaving behind a new understanding and appreciation of oneself.

Follow the gentle guidance to readjust and realign ourselves. After chakra tuning, we are rejuvenated by Reiki healing to the body and mind - washing away our exhaustion, gently putting down the pressure on our shoulders, and finding back our long lost balance.

In this journey of body awareness, Soul Barn integrates Kundalini sound flow meditation and Shaman breathing meditation. Following the pace of the guide, we practice a different form of meditation where we deeply observe and care for every inch of our skin, every thought and consciousness, and feel the connection between the chakras, body and emotion. During the start of summer, gather with the community in the north coast of Taiwan, while exploring peace in nature and immerse in the lush greenery and shimmering waves, we’ll discuss Human Design through different practices.

Gently open up the five senses and perfectly welcome the time of self-exploration in the afternoon. Using the Human Design System as a map, let us rediscover the power of self, and rebuild our relationship with ourselves.

At the end of the day, we will stroll on the warm sandy beach with the silky waves, letting the light of the sunset flow naturally with our breath and body, refreshing our body and mind. And Lastly, bring this beauty back to our daily lives.
