Yoga Instructor: Krystal

Krystal graduated from New York University with a Photography and Imaging Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. Her passion for travel changed her perspective of the world and inspired her in different aspects that she will carry into her yoga sessions.

As a yoga instructor, Krystal strives to inspire and lead yogis by engaging the mind and body. She ensures that everyone is comfortable on the mat and teaches essential postures that are safe and useful for daily practices.

In this retreat, Krystal will be leading “Energetic Yoga”, “Walking Meditation”, “Walking Meditation”, and “Harmony Yoga”. Krystal will lead everyone to slowly understand the charm of yoga and its connection with life. Be confident with being on the yoga mat and learn the positions that make you comfortable. On the way, it helps you with being mindful of the environment which can later be applied to your daily life.

Meditation Instructor: Karina

Karina was born in Argentina, South America and moved to Taiwan in 2006 to study Chinese. Her love for travel and yoga led her to countries like Austria and India to pursue her yoga training. Karina has practiced yoga for more than 22 years and has more than 17 years of teaching experience around the world such as Spain, Portugal, France, England, Austria, Germany, Poland, Argentina, Uruguay, Peru, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, India, Thailand, Canada, Italy and Lebanon.

For the last few years, Pranayama and meditation has become Karina’s passion, as she realized her main purpose in life is to pass on the yoga teachings she has received.

Her spiritual name given by the acharyas of the Sivananda School is “Prema”, which means “Divine Love” - not expecting to receive anything in return. Karina believes that no matter what culture, age, gender, or social condition, it all contains love. Through yoga, Karina hopes to spread this divine love to everyone around her.

In this Retreat, Karina will be leading “Basic Pranayama and Mindfulness Meditation”, “Wind Down Meditation: Inhabiting your body”, “Pranayama to Balance”, “Nadi Shodhana Meditation”, “Wind Down Meditation: Earth descent”, “Pranayama: Balance and Clean the Nadis”, and “Opening up the Chakras Meditation”. Pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation are incredibly powerful practices that can be incorporated into our everyday lives.

Karina will be guiding different pranayama and meditation techniques as gateways to experience and work on the subtle body (energy body of nadis and chakras). Through these practices, we can then find balance, peace, joy and bliss into our modern lives.

*This session will be held in English

Wine Tasting Instructor: James

“Wine is a constant proof that God loves us and loves to see us happy.” - Benjamin Franklin

Wine serves a very important factor throughout Jame’s life, from studying a Masters in Wine to becoming a wine specialist. He believes each wine has their own characteristics that stand them apart from all the other bottles.

“I’ve always wanted to become a storyteller who uses the easiest language to help you find the perfect bottle for you.” says James.

Here in this retreat with James, let’s find the wine just for you.

*This session will be held in Mandarin

Space

Rok and Joyce, had a dream to build an art & healing village, therefore in 2017 they started to transform a deserted place left by their grandfather. This place was designed and built entirely by Rok and Joyce - step by step, through bricks and woods.

Sixty to seventy years ago, this village was a space for storing vegetables and animals. Now that it has included 3 rooms and a 80 square-meter yoga space, with a large long dinner table suitable for gatherings which can also be lowered to become a classroom floor. The kitchen is located next to the terrarium where friends and family can cook and enjoy their meals together.

Rok and Joyce are still pursuing their dreams to expand the area, just to create a creative and calm space. As you practice yoga and enjoy your meal here, take a look around you and let the space take you back to where everything started.
