It is a path with heart. And I am simply learning to surrender along the way.
As a child of a yoga-loving, unabashedly spiritual family, I attended my first yoga classes at the age of fourteen. I began practicing on my own accord, and in earnest, after struggling with depression and mental health in high school. After falling into another rough patch–a very dark night of the soul–while going to university in New York, I decided to pursue a path aligned with my purpose.
So, at twenty-one years old, I headed to Mysore, India, to study classical hatha and yoga philosophy, before completing my yoga teacher training at Radiantly Alive, Bali, the year after. Since then, my yoga teaching journey has evolved and grown across a few continents, in diverse environments, and finally, returned to its roots in Taipei, where it all started–just as I have.
The yoga journey is, at this point, inextricable from who I am and why I am here, today. It is a part of me, yet there is so much more. It is a learning and a craft and a practice, yet–in it, there is something occurring, more than understanding.
I teach yin, flow, yoga stretch, and yin yang. Although my style has shifted to more gentle, allowing energies over time, I like teaching fun and flowy classes too. No matter the style—my classes are heart-centered and include seated meditation and mindful practices when appropriate.
As a teacher, my aim is to inspire a state of self-embodiment and radiate an accepting atmosphere. I am soft yet strong, lighthearted and prone to laughter, too. In the classroom, I love creating a nurturing and nourishing ambience for the practice. This is achieved through my use of voice, sequencing, thoughtful playlists, and an awareness of the students’ needs.

The founders of Cerine Forest - Rok and Joyce, had a dream to build an art & healing village, therefore in 2017, they started to transform a deserted place left by their grandfather. Cerine Forest was designed and built entirely by Rok and Joyce - step by step, through bricks and woods.
Now that Cerine Forest has included 3 rooms and an 80 square-meter yoga space, with a large long dinner table suitable for gatherings which can also be lowered to become a classroom floor. The kitchen is located next to the terrarium where friends and family can cook and enjoy their meals together.
Last but not the least, the good news is their work is still ongoing. Rok and Joyce are still pursuing their dreams to expand the area, just to create creative and calm space.
If you still want to have your own space, we have private rooms to choose from:
Private Room A
