*The retreat will proceed with a minimum of 5 attendees. If there are fewer than 5 attendees, we will notify you and issue a full refund one week before the retreat starts.

Did you know that "fasting" is also a way to help heal the body and mind?

Eating three meals a day is our habitual lifestyle, and maintaining our health through the choice of foods we consume is common knowledge. In fact, there are many ways to maintain physical and mental health, including the unexpected method of fasting. Through our guided instructor, let’s experience a one-day fast, choosing to give our digestive system a proper rest and help the body restart its repair mechanisms.


In the beginning of winter, let's gather at our rooftop Soul Barn sanctuary to learn the hidden health secrets within the human body. Together, we'll make juices, warm vegetable soups, and colorful sauerkraut dishes, immersing ourselves in the joy that the flow state of hands-on creation brings. We will gain a deeper understanding of the connection between food and the mind and body.

Depending on your level of toxicity, willingness to let go of old, stuck emotions, metabolism and intention to the fast, each person will have different experiences on their fast.

In a tranquil spot near the city, we'll enjoy the feeling of our feet lightly touching the ground, laying our foundations, and letting the warm sunlight replenish our energy. Feel the soothing sensation of warm blood circulating throughout the body. After a day of this experience, you'll return to your daily life with a lighter body and mind.

Gut Health and Fasting Guide: Liz

In this event, Liz will systematically share the connections between diet, fasting, and body health, guiding everyone through a one-day fast and co-creating healthy light meals suitable for fasting periods.

Liz, originally from South Africa, came to Taiwan by chance and has been living on this beautiful island for 30 years. Upon her arrival in Asia, Liz was deeply attracted to the traditional healing methods found across the continent. She admired Asia's traditional wisdom regarding health and longevity, which fueled her passion for in-depth research.

Liz has incorporated colon hydrotherapy into her daily routine for 8 years. Since 2015, she has also been promoting three-day fasting retreats in Taiwan, hoping to assist participants in discovering health habits that suit them and gradually making these habits part of their lifestyle, thus creating their own health habit maps.

  • Absolute Contraindications (Not eligible for fasting)

    Pregnant or Breastfeeding / Cirrhosis of the liver / Diabetes Type 1 / Renal Insufficiency / Kidney Dialysis / Substance Abuse  / Unstable Angina  / “Protein Wasting Disease” due to cancer, Lupus / HBP higher than 180 over 110 or LBP lower than 90 over 60

  • Relative Contraindications (fasting with caution or with a doctor’s permission)

    Any rectal bleeding / Recent Heart Attack / General Debilitation / Recent History of GI bleeding / Acute Abdominal Pain / Severe Hemorrhoids / Intestinal Perforation / Abdominal Hernia / Epilepsy or Psychosis / Recent Colon or Rectal surgery / Congestive Heart Failure / Fissures/Fistulas / Ulcerative Colitis: Severe / Anemia: Severe / Diverticulitis / 15% underweight (minimum BMI 18.5) / History of Kidney/ Gallstones / Stomach ulcers / Diabetes Type 2 / Psychiatric/ Emotional Disorder / Cancer (under supervision)

  2. PAYMENT PROCESSED:
    Please proceed with the payment at your earliest convenience no later than 3 days after you receive our bank account information. Without receiving your payment, the booking system will cancel your reservation automatically. Don’t forget to provide the last five digits of your bank account number and the total amount you have transferred. 

  3. RESERVATION COMPLETED:
    Please wait patiently as our team members contact you shortly. The reservation is completed once the payment is received.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 14 days or more in advance of the event date will receive a 100% refund.

Cancellations made between 2 - 13 days of the event will receive a 70% refund.

Cancellations made within 2 days of the event will receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations made on the day of the event or during the event are non-refundable unless an emergency occurred and is provided with proof.

However, the booking can be transferred to a different person if you’re unable to attend.
